Ex 1
This experiment is a photo mirrored and patterns and print are add to it. The 3rd image is the successful one from me. The triangle patterns worked well with the blank space and also reference the idea of malu patterns. A ma'lu is a symbol of strengths and power which was someting I wanted to show in my work.
Malu is a word in the Samoan language for a female-specific tattoo of cultural significance.[1] The malu covers the legs from just below the knee to the upper thighs just below the buttocks, and is typically finer and delicate in design compared to the pe'a, the equivalent tattoo for males.
